Warning: needs drilling/timber door

Would be helpful if the requirement to drill and for a timber door was more prominent. It is placed in a position that is easily overlooked. Borderline deceptive.

Looks good but...

Maybe good for some, but the fact that u actually have to drill holes into ur doorframe to secure it... made me bring it back. As I’m renting and also I got metal frames lol

Not what I expected

I returned this product at it wasn't the most obvious that I had to screw it into the door frames. I think this is a very big consideration as it permanently damage your door frames. I rent and have metal door frames too so it was basically out of the question. I personally think none of the pullbars should be a permanent fixture as it gets in the way of traffic and other in the house.

Good quality compact pull up bar

None needs to be said. If you're willing to purchase a quality compact pull up bar, look no further. This bar does do the job well with the ease of installation and maximum grip (and comfort). It's a tad pricey for a compact pull up bar but I reckon it's worth the dime!

Very easy installation and very solid product

I've been looking for a pull up bar for a long time and all the ones I had come across were poorly designed. This one fits solidly on my wide door and I use it daily. Highly recommended!

More than just a pull-up bar. 3 height settings.

We have had an older PTP Pull-Up Bar for years. Both my kids are gymnasts and were fighting over who got to use the bar during Zoom training (Covid lockdown). So, I purchased another one. I love that this new version has 3 pairs of holding brackets that you can put at varying heights in your door jam. It dramatically improves the versatility of the bar (pushups, body rows, inverted hangs, dips etc). The grip on the old model was foam and over the years has started falling apart. The grip on the new one is a thick rubber. It will last forever. My only criticism of the bar is that the rubber grip spins on the bar whilst doing pullups and chinups.

Solid

Very good quality, not sure why there is a gap in the middle of the grip though. Screws into door frame which isnt ideal but its a very good bar. The grip also helps with to reduce calluses if used pretty much everyday.
