Great stand

Pairs perfect with the Bowflex dumbbells. So much easier than having to bend to the ground to pick them up. They also look great when not in use

Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This are amazing, super well made and work perfectly. One set of dumbbells instead of weight plates of different sizes. Super comfortable and so easy to use, changing weight is quick and effortless. They are on the bigger side but what can you expect when you can load them up with 90 LBS a piece. #sweepstakes, #feeltheburn

I AM REALLY ENJOYING MY PURCHASE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I weight lift 4-5 times a week, so I use these often. My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments (hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. I've searched but haven't been able to find one.

Space-Efficient, but Ergonomically Questionable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a pair of the smaller select techs that have served me quite well for the past decade or so, but my strength training regiment now calls for heavier weights than those could provide. I decided it was time to upgrade to avoid getting a gym membership. These larger dumbbells maintain the same space-saving benefits as their smaller counterparts, so it's hard to complain. However, I need to mention how much of a design failure the handles are. Instead of being rounded and having a rubber grip like the 52.5 dumbbells, these feature a more squared and aggressively textured metal handle. They can be quite painful to use as a result. I guess they figured if you're lifting such heavy weights you use gloves or straps, but at a premium price I did expect better. The weights are sturdy. Perhaps it's do to the extra weight while lifting, but they sometimes feel difficult to reseat properly. I'd probably only recommend these if you have an extensive home gym already and really don't want to get a gym membership. I choose to keep using the smaller pair of dumbbells on every lift I can.

1090 Revy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the 552's for 15 years and it was finally time to upgrade to the 1090s. I love the heavier weights and the ease of changing weights with the dial. I didn't realize that I was able to lift more on so many exercises until using these, so that has been a great thing for my training. One thing that is ridiculous about these though, is the straps that you use to secure the base. The buckle gets in the way of you trying to reach into grab them. Like I said I've had the 552's for years and for some reason there isn't an issue with those. The other thing is that it seems like the stand was made for a midget. Seriously! Who the heck wants to bend so far down to lift these up. Again, the 552s and the old stand work great and are at least four inches taller.
LikesEasy Storage
DislikesShort stand, Strap is stupid

Yes, I recommend this product.
