Good but stinky

The dumbbells were exactly what I wanted and feel comfortable to use, but the rubber stinks quite badly. A strong industrial unpleasant smell.

Smell and oily

They're fine, but being cheaper Chinese items there are a couple of minor issues for me. The rubber has a strong smell, and the metal bar has an oily coating. I'm assuming the oily coating is there to protect the metal from moisture and oxygen. This leads me to believe that these will oxidise and rust over time after you've used them and the oil has rubbed off. Definitely made from cheap materials.

Those 2 are not identical. I don't really like any promotional products. I prefer better price instead. It's obvious no business can offer us anything extra unless they put extra price on regular goods or services. I prefer market competition by quality and fairness.
