Perfect for those looking to start their weight training journey, the Celsius 50kg Coloured Vinyl Weight Set features the equipment you need to start right. You will be able to do all the exercises you can do with the cast iron weight set but without the hard metal casing, better suited for use on floor boards and similar surfaces as you have less chance of scratches and damaged from the softer vinyl casing. The casing is filled with a concrete that has been weighed and made to be accurate for the volume used for each plate.

Great weight set

The barbell and dumbbell’s diameter are not the same, around 26mm and 30mm respectively. Keep this in mind when purchase the standard spring collars, they might not fit perfectly or don’t fit at all. The weight plates’ material make it quite slippery. Be careful when switching them around. But overally, great budget home gym set.

Plates do not secure on bar - slide off

Weights constantly slide off the bar whilst working out. The stopper/screw on the outside of the plate is not secure and will continue to unscrew as you workout, hence the plates sliding and having an uneven bar.

Good starter set

Much better than the previous Celsius 50kg pack with bulkier and more colourful weights. Works well for up to 50kg, but if you buy additional weights to add, the 8kg bar is a bit flimsy and starts to bend

quality lacking.

Spinlocks do not tighten well, and one of the metal ones does not go all the way to the end of the weight plates. I email Rebel the day after the purchase and it has been 6 weeks and I have still not gotten a response rendering the big barbell practically useless. One of the weights were dinted on arrival, and after a while the dumbbell grips crumble and continually need tightening after each set. Ok for short term use during lockdown, but these won't last a couple more months max.

Dumbbells are terrible

The handles on the dumbbells are terrible they cant hold the weight and colapse the handles are barely big enough to fit my hands anymore. They have a different product which is cast iron, buy that one.
