Celsius 50kg Weight Set

There is a lot of value in this kit, considering the variety of plates it comes with, it is priced very fairly. There's also a lot of value considering it comes with barbells and dumbbells. The wide sections of knurled grip make this bar good for a variety of exercises. The spin lock collars and the bar seem to have sections of rubber which grip the plates firmly, yet non-abrasively. It's very common with other spin lock collars to become loose, particularly with curls. But I've noticed that while using these dumbbells/barbell, it's very rare that the weight plates get loose while exercising, so long as you tighten the collars firmly. It would be more beneficial for customers if the item came with all of the specifications e.g., the weight of the bar(s) and the spin lock collars. ((The barbell seems to weight around 6.6kg, with the spin lock collars weighing an average of about 0.190kg.)) Maximum weight capacity is also very important but I haven't been able to find information regarding it. I have noticed that there is some whip to the bar which helps with dead lifting. So far I've only loaded 70kg onto the bar, but it seems like it may be able to handle a little bit more. I would be cautious if you intend to load this bar with over 100 kg, and I recommend looking for alternatives if you intend to go higher in weight. The case makes for convenient storage, however the plates held in the upper section often fall out. Overall, I think this set is great, but I would mainly recommend it to beginner lifters, or people who don't intend to lift heavy. I intend to begin training for power lifting so I will eventually see how much weight it's capable of handling.

Ideal for beginners on home set up. I didn’t have to look for any other weight sets. I wish they have a non-circle shape weights. Instead a hexagon like shape so it wont immediately roll on tiles. But overall bery nice quality.

They didn't send barbell with the weight set and one of the screws has a fault it stuck at the same spot and doesn't turn further after that spot I am disappointed.

Purchased two sets of this for a home gym. The product comes well packaged. The spin lock collars make it easy to change weights.

Great addition to home gym setup. Being able to pack the plates back in the case helps keep them neat and easily moved when training out the backyard. Bar is great quality and price per kilo of weight was great too.
