A lot of mat to love! This is a mat with more. More grip, more depth, more lines. The 6mm thick mat has a super grippy slip-resistant surface that provides 25% more grip than our regular black 5mm TPE mat which means you can hold even the most challenging poses for longer, without slipping. The mat is ideally suited to the restorative styles of yoga like Vinyasa and Ashtanga that involve intense moves at a slower pace. The alignment marks along the centre, and for hands and feet, help you position your body correctly for an even, balanced pose with optimum thickness for cushioning joints and pressure points. This is a mat that loves you back.

Didn’t live up to the name

Comfortable mat, however I wouldn’t agree with the “extra grip”. I found my feet sliding at times, and that was in bare feet.

Great mat but not grippy enough

Great mat. Way grippier than my last one so this is really a step up. Still not grippy enough if your body gets sweaty as you practice, especially in the warmer weather. Hands slide in downward dog so i'm currently using a beach towel on top of it. Overall happy with the mat quality though.

Not that grippy, foot still slips when sweaty, maybe if you like slower yoga may be good for you

Ouch!

I bought this mat to replace my old budget mat. I used it for the first time the other day and found myself slowly slipping and got a friction burn from it. I've never had a friction burn from a yoga mat, this mat is rougher than others. Pros, thick and I like the lines on it. Overall, don't recommend.

“Extra grip” disappoints

I got this mat for Christmas and I’m disappointed with its grip ability - even doing downward dog my hands and feet slip. Other than that, I like the mat’s texture, thickness and density. Will probably return it though because of the slipping on the mat.
