The perfect workhorse for the home gym

Was tossing up buying for a few months and managed to snag it when on sale. Had no issues setting it up at home with no manufacturing blemishes or imperfections on the bench which I had seen mentioned in another review. Tested with 100kgs of weights and the bench was solid, no creaks or flexing which is good. The gap between the seat and the back support when flat is quite wide and you will have to get used to that but after a few workouts you’ll be fine.

Great for flat & incline workouts, but not upright

Assembling it took a while. I had to get two spanners to assemble it and I also had a scare at the start when I was making sure I had all the pieces as outlined in the manual. A few of the pieces which I thought were missing were actually attached to other pieces. The break-down diagrams were also hard to read; luckily the explosive diagram was relatively helpful. In terms of use, it’s great for flat & incline workouts such as bench press, back rows, and bicep curls and even Romanian squats. But it’s not good for seated vertical shoulder presses, because the seat stops the back from reaching 90 degrees. It’s personally not a problem for me because I prefer standing shoulder presses. But a heads up for potential buyers who want to adjust the back 90 degrees to the seat.

This bench is functional but the build quality is shocking - the welding is so off that the bench is not stable. Could be a much better product with more care taking to build it.

Sturdy bench but had to painstakingly wait for it!

Great sturdy bench. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one. Completed my iso home set-up...for now. I can see why other reviewers thought assembly was fiddly but it’s a breeze with the right tools. Suggest you use socket sets rather than an adjustable wrench for assembly. Delivery was painfully slow. Waited a month. No fault of Rebel but their freight contractors.

Great for pressing and most exercises. Decline, flat and a few incline positions. What annoyed me is the front leg hook thing as it doesn't serve any purpose for a normal sized male. Luckily it is small enough to ignore.

Doesn't reach fully upright (90 degrees)

The bench doesn't reach 90 degree upright. Hard to tell this from the product description and photos online. I will probably upgrade to one that does. Other than that, it's a great product.
