Worst ball on the market

Let me start by saying that I have reached out to ask if there was a failure in the manufacturing of a batch of these balls, or if I somehow managed to end up with factory seconds through our club, and the answer was no! And recently balls purchased through Rebel were the same. I have taken multiple photos for reference from multiple tins. Photo with 2 balls is after a 10 minute warm up, and photo with one ball is at the completion of just 4 sets of mixed doubles. These balls are not suitable for any form of competitive play. Even after a warm up the balls are so fluffed up they produce a noticeable drag in the flight of the ball, and by the end of four sets (of club level mixed doubles!) the circumference of the ball is easily double what it starts out at. The ball is so heavy and slow through the air, you find yourself doing a combination of hitting the ball early because it simply does not come through, but then also over hitting the ball just to get it to go past the service line! Nearly everyone in my league has been complaining about sore elbows and wrists from these balls. The photo tells the story and we've gone through dozens of tins now so it is not isolated, the fact these carry the AO logo is embarrassing. Should note, the balls in 2022 were ok.

Pro players do not play with it! very poor quality

I bought it as it says this is the official ball that is used at the AO, but only after 1 hour of hitting with it, the balls fluffled up badly and they became so heavy to play with. I can not believe profesional players use this ball at the AO!!!! Then I used the Wilson US Open Extra Duty for a few days about 10 hours of use, and it still almost as new condition, WAAAAYY better than this ball. I will never buy it again. Good luck to all the buyers.

Reasonable quality

Seem tennis balls these days are low bouncing, harder shell.. We played on synthetic grass courts, wear is ok after 3hrs. I grew up playing Slazenger and put them as the baseline standard, back then Wilson balls were like hitting baseballs, these are in between..
