Net disintegrated after 2 months

The net has disintegrated after only a couple of months, bought for Christmas and by end of Feb was on the way out. OCD daughter had her heart on the Gilbert stand as it had the net she wanted (rather than the cheaper version from another store which had a much shorter net on it). Disappointed.

Gilbert netball stand

The first one rusted away. Due to limited other options I bought it again, thinking the new model may have improved. Wrong. Poor fitting stand poles result in a bent overall pole once connected. There is no hole for the adjustment screw when at full height, so the ring rotates very easily. Base is ok. Contacted Gilbert who told me to contact Rebel. It’s already assembled so I didn’t want to disassemble and return for a refund. Still not happy at all. Would not recommend this product.

Difficult to adjust between heights

The top section required a lot of force to insert all the way for the lower height. It scratched all the paint off the top section of the post when inserting them together. I feel I am going to have a lot of trouble trying to extend it to full height when the time comes. If you have 2 kids requiring different heights this is not the stand to get as it cannot be moved between the heights easily.

Screw posting stupid

I just bought this, assembling together is absolutely stupid, the poles don’t match up to anything, the screws are useless, shouldn’t sell if it’s dodgy!

It is a good product but would benefit from a pre-drilled holes or a ridge or something to remove the ability of the ring section to move off axis when hit laterally.

Great netball ring, would highly recommend!

Bought this for our daughter for her 8th birthday. It was easy to put together and is easy to move around with the wheels. The netball ring is used everyday to practice shooting skills and mainly stays out in the weather and is fine. We have now had the ring for 2 months. Its perfect for practice as the height is the same as a proper game. Would highly recommend this product.
