Worked well for about a year

They worked well for about a year and the right one just started getting quieter and now I can barely hear out of it. The left one still works well. They connect to the phone with ease and sound quality is OK for phone calls and listening to music. I like how these don’t fall out of the ear like the Live Free 2 TWS.

Thanks for your feedback. In order for our JBL Endurance Peak 3 to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal, you can try the three different sizes of ear tips to see which fits you the most then try to angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. Next, you may also check the balance control on your source device by going to the "Accessibility" settings on your music player app, commonly found in the playback or EQ settings, and the balance control on the JBL Headphone App. Lastly, try to connect the headphones to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Additionally, this is the most common reason for no sound/lack of sound issues. A simple cleaning will almost always fix this problem. If the issue remains, please contact us. Long lasting battery

This a good built item, The battery last long, but the quality of the sound is not that great as advertised, Also it's case is silky and slippery, It has slipped out of my hand many times, luckily at home on the carpet, otherwise it had broken long time ago,

Survived a month frozen in a snowbank

I had had these for over a year and they had worked great for running and lots of activity in the gym. Sound quality isn't the best, but connection and fit is good with long battery life. I was really bummed when I put them in my pocket to put in when I went out to shovel snow and somehow dropped one before putting it it. Dug around for a while but couldn't find it, so lived with one earbud for a month, until after several warm days, the lost one appeared from the snowbank. It had been, obviously, very wet and cold, but cleaned it off and it turned right back on! If that's not a test of longevity, then I don't know what is!

Waterproof and laundry proof

I'm not an expert on sound quality and I think everything sounds fine, so this review isn't about that. It's about the fact I put these through a whole laundry cycle and they sound perfectly fine and still have battery.

Button beeps driving me mad!

I bought these for the waterproof feature and so far they have not disappointed. Having said that, I have two major gripes: Volume won’t go up enough, my AirPods Pro’s will go much higher even with Headphone Safety turned on. Maybe a feature of the waterproofing but means they are next to useless when traffic or crowds are nearby. More annoying though are the touch controls. These are so sensitive that anything coming anywhere near them “presses” the buttons, sweat, wet hair, the collar of anything I’m wearing, a scarf, a hat, you get the idea! I worked out how to disable “gestures” in the app so they no longer turn off/on, skip songs, change volume, etc., but the buds still beep every time there is the slightest touch and you can’t do anything about that. Unless a new version of firmware is available to fix this, they will be going in the bin and I won’t be buying any more!

Thank you for your review extended review of our JBL Endurance Peak 3 earbuds, and i'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing some audio issues with your earbuds In your review you mention that the volume of the earbuds won't go up enough, and that you can't hear the music while in traffic. Based on this information i think that you enabled the "Ambient Aware" feature of the headphones.  In this mode the volume of your earbuds automatically get's lowered , so you can stay aware of your surroundings at all time.  I would advise you to open the JBL Headphones application and switch between the "Ambient Aware" and the "Talk Trough" options to see which of the two options gives you the best results.  You also mention that you hear a "Beep" whenever you touch the earphones. Unfortunately there is no solution for the beeping right now. I will forward your feedback to a different team within our Customers Support to see if any changes need to be made.  However, please note that i can' promise any changes will be made.  If you need any more support, then i would advise you to contact our JBL Support directly. Faulty Earphones and Denied Warranty Claim

Purchased JBL endurance III four months ago. Sound was pretty good for earphones and had no problems with connection or having conversations. However the rubber spine which secures around the back of ear deteriorated and broke off. Even though the earphone was purchased recently and I had proof of purchase, JBL would not fix the issue or replace it under warranty, stating that it was "physical damaged". JBL made this decision WITHOUT inspecting the earphones. Please note the deterioting rubber and corrosion in photos.

Product liability waiting to happen

I had to leave a review. The refurbished pair I received are absolute garbage. Sound quality aside (there is zero bass) they will randomly squawk a high pitched very loud noise directly in your ears. This is a product liability suit waiting to happen.

We'd like to work with you directly on the issues you are experiencing with your JBL Endurance Peak 3. We need to determine the common denominator. For example, if it only happens on a certain album, you may want to adjust the EQ to boost the bass a little bit while listening to that album. But if it only happens when you are using a specific streaming service or app, you might want to check with the service or app to improve the sonic quality. However, if it appears to be completely random, try boosting the low-frequency settings in the EQ to find a happy medium so that a typical recording sounds more full, but recordings with extreme bass are not excessive.
