Really upset with these. Had the previous model and they were the most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. This new model isn’t full leather, the lace system hurts the top of your foot when bending, and I don’t even have wide foot but these feel impossibly skinny.

Where to begin? Since Adidas discontinued the F50, I have chose Nike Mercurial for my football pleasure. The last pair of Nikes that I enjoyed were my 2013 CR7 Mercurials. Since, any boot I have purchased has been horrendous. Recently, my Phantom GTs have started causing me a lot of pain. It began out of the box with blistering because of an ugly seam between the dynamic fit cuff and the heel of the boot. In recent use the pressure on the ball of my foot from the stud placement is almost unbearable. Since my feet cannot take any more unnecessary blisters and pain, I thought to replace the boots. I thought the Tiempo might be the answer to my problems, but it seems quality boots might be a thing of the past. The upper is a soft material that simulates leather and may have decent touch on the ball. The lacing is perfect. However, the glue is horrendous, as well as the stitching. The insole is worthless. The outsole is thin and flexible. Not springy or supportive like a proper boot. The heal is comfortable. The boot conforms well to the foot. Overall build quality is lacking for high level play. I wouldn’t expect it to last long under heavy/normal use. It’s sad what the industry has become. Football is in for a difficult year with products like these. I bought these as a last hope. Now I will explore the Adidas crazyfast+, Puma, Diadora, Lotto, Mizuno lines. I really wish Asics shipped internationally. What a shame the last decade of boots has been. Bring back the old days.

Nice to the touch right out of the box, but sizing is not the same as legend 9 elite. Son wears men’s 11.5 in legend 9 elite and fits foot like a glove. He could barely squeeze his foot into men’s 11.5 in legend 10 elite. Go 1/2 size up.
