Nordictrack 2450 NT24 Treadmill

Have had this treadmill for 6 months now. Only used 3-4times a week maximum in that time. It’s broken down… after only 6 months of use. Ring up for warranty. All good we will send the part and get tech to fit. Week later tech fits it. Walk on treadmill for 50mins and bang won’t work again. So much for a ‘commercial’ treadmill. Absolute waste of money.

Great content and interaction between runner and treadmill with the auto adjustments

Great treadmill, really feel like doing actual events with ifit. Nice and smooth running surface, incline and decline make it feel like running outside.

I purchased the NordicTrack 2450 NT24 Treadmill primarily because of the advertised "create your own maps" feature associated with the iFit software it uses. This was a feature I specifically searched for and wanted in a new piece of exercise equipment. Secondly, I was interested in the workout videos that were included as part of the iFit package, and I was also of the understanding that, with a suitable heart rate monitor, I could also create workouts based on exercising in specific heart rate zones. Additionally, I was also to receive free iFit membership for a 12 month period. However, the current version of iFit software does not currently offer the ability to create map based workouts, or create and control workouts based on the users heart rate. I found this out only after having to immediately pay for a 12 month subscription for the software. I have subsequently read that the latest software version may have map based workout creation as a future enhancement at some unspecified time, but I have found no mention of heart rate based workouts. Apparently the previous version of the software did have map based workouts, but the training videos had quality problems which were only solved in the new version. The result is that I purchased a very expensive treadmill which does not currently have the features advertised in any one single version of the accompanying software, and I paid a hefty annual subscription immediately for the associated software, despite it being devoid of the features it is supposed to contain. I would not recommend purchasing of this product because it does not provide the features advertised, nor does it make their absence known during the purchasing process.
