Surprisingly Poor Quality

I know this is a relatively cheap product but I've wasted time trying to get it to work to no avail, the manual is so poorly written you have to read it over and over to try and parse the meaning and there is apparently no website with support or more info. I've charged it up for 24 hours and having worked ten paces - which is measured as 40 steps, it then stopped working and showed as 88 for a while, then randomly began working again but the display does not reflect reality. Eg: I stood up - that's 30 steps? Then I walked around the block to test it, 60 steps. I wanted a minimalist pedometer but did not realize it would be this crappy. I foolishly got my daughter one as well so it's just a ripoff and I don't have time to go through the laborious process of getting a return from Rebel. I tell you one thing, I was about to get a fitness bench from them but backing off that real fast - these pedometers are discardable but if the fitness bench did not function under load it would be dangerous. So yeah, disappointing that items of this low a quality are being sold by Rebel.

Easy to use - great little gadget

I've been using this pedometer for about a week and it's been excellent. I wear it all day every day and record my steps in a third party app on my phone. I usually forget I'm wearing it. It's very easy to charge and then you just turn it on and clip it to your waistband and it starts counting. It's a tiny bit difficult to get it out of the clip to hit the reset button every morning. The screen is easy to read and apparently the charge will last for a few months. I'm really glad I purchased this as I now hate wearing watches and I don't always have my phone on me so this is a lightweight easy way to count my steps.

Good buy for $30

Good buy for $30, it counts steps accurately. Does everything you expect it to, fits in your pockets or clips to waistband or bra. Just have to remember to reset it, as it’s not a smart watch that resets at midnight. Had it for a week and not recharged it yet. For the budget conscious you really don’t need a $$$ watch just to count your 10k daily steps.

Never again!!!

Horrible. Didn't work when I took it out the box. Bought it for weight loss and it made me gain over 10 kgs in a week. Rang for advice and was told to take it back for a refund. My microwave works better than this crap.

ENLARGE THE WRITING, PLEASE

My Grandchild bought this pedometer, and I am having trouble reading the instructions as the writing is TOO SMALL. Even with my glasses on I am having trouble reading the words. I will take it back to the shop and get them to get the pedometer up-and-going for me or at least photocopy the instructions, make the printing larger and give me the print-out. Not everyone has 20/20 vision and can make small words larger.

Poor design.

Don't recommend. This comes with a case with a spring clip. The spring on the clip requires about 10kg of pressure to press. The counter is just about impossible to remove from the plastic case in order to press the RESET button. This is a horrible design. I bought this for my mum to use as other step counters require a mobile app. I'm relatively young and work out and even I find this thing difficult to operate which only requires 2 actions, press the spring clip and remove the counter from the case just to press the reset button. No chance my mum can use this.
