Not enough gel at the back to hold tight in your mouth

Purchased a small/youth and adult size for an 11 and 15 yr old. After soaking in hot water and moulding to teeth, there is not enough gel at the back of the gaurd to hold in place properly. Holds at the front of the mouth, drops down at the back. Total waste of money!
