Best swing trainer but

It's the best swing trainer there is but I buy 2 and break the first one then by the time I even get an email back from the warranty people, second one is broken and I can't file another claim for that one until the first claim is settled. They need to make it stronger.

Great tool - poor design with short life-span

I wish I could give this a better review because it has provided my two boys countless hours of practice. Unfortunately the first one I purchased began to come apart within the first week. The detail at the ball broke off and as the bats began to suffer damage so to did the cable holding the ball in place. I was less concerned with the superficial damage to the bats but once I realized there was no way to repair the Hit-A-Way when the cable finally snapped I opted to purchase another. The second one began to fall apart on day one and we have had it for just two months and it is close to the end of being useful. Don't think I'll purchase another until I am certain SKLZ has designed a better version. My boys are not monsters crushing a baseball 300 plus feet so I don't think this should be breaking so easily. Just like baseball, product design takes practice. Hope they can get it right on the next model.

Seems like it would be great

My son got this for Christmas with a new bat. I set it up and it seemed to be functioning as it's supposed to. Within 10 minutes the plastic cap was broken off the baseball and the metal underneath has left multiple chips in his new bat.

Terrible Product

I bought this for my son this Christmas and the first day he used it the stitching broke and it just wouldn’t work well. Also, he used a wood bat to train and it left tons of big dents in it along with a crack in the bat. I hope no one else wastes there money on such a bad product.

I bought one several years ago and it was great. The entire little league team hit it, I hit it, it lasted a couple seasons. Just bought one recently and after a week the ball is no longer round and getting loose around the cables. This is not the same quality unit as the original.

Velcro too short

Just got this in mail today, my 12 year old was excited to set this up on our existing basketball hoop pole. The Velcro on collars are too short to wrap around pole and secure back on itself. Hope SKLZ has a Velcro extension for collar to attach so son can start hitting. Otherwise it’s worthless

Purchased this maybe two months ago. If your kid has any hitting power, mine is 13, do not by this. Ball completely fell off. Meaning the cable pulled all the way through the corked baseball
