These pads in size XS fit my 8 year old son ok. He’s 134cm & 25kg. All other sizes were out of stock at the Miranda store we bought them at, otherwise we probably would’ve bought 1 or 2 sizes up but, to be fair, I only intend for him to use these for a year or so before upgrading to larger, more robust pads. He felt the Protec ones I had bought for him (from a different store) were way too bulky so we returned them in favour of these. Anyway, the pads (he mainly just wears the knee pads; he occasionally wears the elbows but never the wrist guards) have already protected him from a number of knee-down scooter stacks (he’s learning tricks) since their purchase a couple of weeks ago so we’re happy with them. They don’t seem to move around, even when hitting the ground hard, which is good. One annoying thing, though, is that the knee pads & elbow pads - at least in size XS - look nearly identical, & the set we bought has a misprint on the label for the left knee pad: it says it’s a right elbow pad! so I wrote over the top of that one after our last skatepark outing to save time on his next outing. It’s worth noting that these pads require shoes to be taken off to put the pads on & also to take them off. Not a big deal but the Protec ones didn’t need shoes to be taken off.

These are good quality pads, my kids love the bright colors. These slip over your leg or arm, and then there are straps that wrap around and adjust, so they're nice and secure, not like the cheap ones that just sit on the knee and then strap on and could pop off easily!! My daughter is 7 1/2 and average height/size, and she wears the medium, although they are a bit big so small might have been better, but they are just fine. I bought them online so was unsure of how big they were and there is no size guide which is very unhelpful!!
