Quality scooter at a great price

Out of the box, we were impressed with the quality of this scooter. All of the joints and adjustments feel like they will last. The wheels are very good, too, although really bumpy surfaces are not it's domain (leave this to scooters with pneumatic tyres). The deck is wide and long enough to fit an adult's size 11 shoe lengthwise, which is very handy for when an adult needs to use it! The folding mechanism is easy to use, and seems fairly tight when in the riding position (other brands seem to have more 'play' in the folding joint). The fact that the handles also detach mean this is will fold up to the width of the deck (the handles re-attach very easily, too)! We bought this scooter for our tall 5-yr old and are satisfied with the bar height on the lowest setting. With two-settings above, it also means the whole family can use it. Some reviews mention a loose kickstand but ours seems to be holding up just fine after a few weeks of use (maybe they changed to a better spring?). The kickstand is very handy, and holds the scooter up on uneven surfaces (grass), too! Very happy customer!
