Yonex Nanoflare 500 Badminton Racquet

This has been an unpleasant purchasing experience. I am certain this is a quality issue with the racket, but unfortunately, I am unable to get it replaced. I truly wish Rebel would take responsibility for this issue. I bought this Nanoflare 500 in-store about a week ago. There were no impacts or signs of damage caused by me, but yesterday, when my friend and I were restringing it, we noticed a crack. After the restringing, the racket became deformed. However, when I spoke to the staff today, they told me that since I had restrung the racket myself, they couldn’t confirm the damage wasn’t caused by that, so they couldn’t offer an exchange. I understand that the staff may not be able to take responsibility at their level, even though I have photos showing the crack before the restringing. (I didn’t bring it back to Rebel right away because I didn’t realise how serious the issue was due to my lack of experience). Still, I am certain this wasn’t caused by restringing but by a product defect. It’s an awkward situation—I shouldn’t have waited until the racket deformed to return it. But how can you know it’s a serious defect and not just a minor cosmetic issue until something like this happens, right? Overall, I’m quite disappointed with this purchase. It's not just that the racket was expensive, but now I’m stuck in an awkward process where I can’t protect my own purchase experience.

Nice light head racquet well suited for fast defensive play in double. It comes pre-strung but the racquets at Rebel Sport have usually been sitting in the store for months (at least!) so imediate restringing is definitely needed. Make sure you ask for the racquet bag at the cashout, they have them!
