Fins OK, but...

This is the second pair of Zoggs fins that I've bought. The first lasted for about four years, which seems to me to be reasonable. I have noticed that these fins are a lot stiffer that the previous pair. The have an underside stiffening rib and the sides are heavier. I preferred the previous fins and have cut down the extra stiffening and I am happier with them now. My guess is that the extra stiffness would be appreciated by younger swimmers with a more powerful kick. I am no longer young and this review is a personal opinion rather than a general criticism.

Sizing

I bought these for an 8year old girl. When they arrived they were size 12-13 but for a giant! My fault entirely as I didn’t understand the sizing system. Could it be simplified and made clearer? The fins looked great just not fit for purpose!

Comfortable and strong providing the right amount of resistance

As a scuba diver, I like to swim to keep fit for diving. Unfortunately swimming with dive fins and boots is a little bit awkward, so these are perfect for the job. I have tried other brands but they split at the toe, but these fins seem to be more robust, comfortable and give good resistance in the water.

Long blade for my child's traning

I bought JR 10-12 size for my children. They are great lasting nearly 3 yrs for my kids swim traning and still in very good shape. ( Passed down from older sibling down to the younger one ). I bought this green one thinking it's for my child, but didn't realise it was an adult size hence had to return it. I love Zoggs blade for its quality though.
