Types of Wood

English Willow

This is soft and fibrous allowing the ball to have higher rebond qualities. This is often referred to as the 'ping' of the bat. English willow is graded from Grade 1 (best) to Grade 5.

Kashmir Willow

This is a denser, harder wood that is used extensively in junior grades and less expensive than senior models.
